Terms of Service

Last updated: August 27, 2026

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and AdminForge Institute LLC ("AdminForge," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company registered in Colorado, United States. These Terms govern your access to and use of the AdminForge website, online courses, lab environments, mentorship forums, and all related services (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, starting a free trial, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

AdminForge provides on-demand professional development courses designed for system administrators. Our Services include self-paced video lessons, hands-on lab environments accessible through your web browser, mentor-supported forums, progress tracking, completion certificates, and career support resources. Lab environments are provisioned on shared infrastructure and are intended for educational use only.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes in advance, but are not obligated to maintain any specific feature or content indefinitely.

3. User Obligations

When using the Services, you agree to the following:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your login with others
  • You will not use lab environments for any purpose other than completing assigned exercises. This means no cryptocurrency mining, no running production workloads, no hosting personal projects, and no attempting to access systems or data outside your assigned lab scope
  • You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, redistribute, or resell any course content, including videos, written materials, lab configurations, or assessment questions
  • You will not interfere with or disrupt the Services, including attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written authorization
  • You will provide accurate and current information when creating your account and will update it if anything changes
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated any of these obligations.

4. Intellectual Property

All content available through the Services — including course materials, videos, written guides, lab configurations, assessment questions, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of AdminForge Institute LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the course content for your personal educational purposes only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from any of our content without prior written consent from AdminForge.

Any projects, code, or configurations you create during lab exercises belong to you. However, the underlying lab infrastructure, exercise prompts, and assessment criteria remain our intellectual property.

5. Payment Terms

AdminForge offers a 14-day free trial that provides full access to all Services. No payment information is required to start a trial. After the trial period, access is paused until you select a paid subscription plan.

Paid subscriptions are billed on either a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you choose. Prices are listed in US dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but price changes will not affect your current billing cycle. You will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect for your account.

For team plans purchased by an employer or organization, billing terms are agreed upon separately and may differ from individual plan terms. Team plan administrators are responsible for managing seats and payment on behalf of their organization.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@adminforge.io. Upon cancellation:

  • Your access continues until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be applied after the cancellation date
  • Your course progress and account data are retained for 12 months after cancellation, in case you choose to reactivate

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you were charged in error or are dissatisfied with the Services within the first 30 days of a paid subscription, contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue. Annual plans are eligible for a prorated refund if cancelled within 30 days of the billing date. Monthly plans are generally non-refundable for the current billing cycle.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AdminForge Institute LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, revenue, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Services.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to AdminForge in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, and even if AdminForge has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. AdminForge specifically disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that lab environments will always be available or that they will perform identically to production systems. Lab environments are educational tools, and configurations may differ from real-world deployments.

No advice or information obtained from AdminForge, whether oral or written, creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.

9. Data Protection

Your privacy matters to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

11. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at hello@adminforge.io and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make good-faith efforts to address your concern within 30 days.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may initiate binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Denver, Colorado, in English, by a single arbitrator. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

You agree that any arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against AdminForge.

12. Modifications to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes that affect your rights or obligations, we will provide at least 15 days' notice via email or a prominent notice on our website before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you should stop using the Services and cancel your subscription.
